It's resistance time! The Women's March on New York City is tomorrow, January 20, and if you haven't registered, you can still do so here. Now in its second year, the event's start has moved to the Upper West Side and will begin with a rally at 11am.
Whether you make it there or not, you can find plenty of other ways to show your support for women–and stand for equality–uptown. Here are a few places and events of note above 96th Street:

Pussy Hat Workshop at UGC Eats, 6-8pm
Join "fiber artist" NaomiRAG and knitter, crocheter and yarn-maker Alexander Reynoso at UGC Eats in East Harlem for a special pussy hat-making workshop tonight.
TUESDAY-SATURDAY, UNTIL FEBRUARY 25
LaToya Ruby Frazier at Gavin Brown's enterprise in Harlem, noon-6pm
A woman artist getting her own show at a major gallery is still a big deal–just ask the Guerrilla Girls. But a woman of color? Let's shout it from the rooftops! Or just go see the work of LaToya Ruby Frazier, who tells stories of injustice (including Flint, Michigan's water crisis) through her powerful art and photography.

"Beyond Suffrage: A Century of New York Women in Politics" at The Museum of the City of New York
From the early women's suffrage movement to today's renewed focus on feminism, follow the arc of women's political activity in New York through rare artifacts, documents, costumes, photographs and more. You'll even find posters from last year's Women's March. Don't leave without grabbing the perfect token of resistance at the museum's gift shop, like a "For All Womankind" pin or a "Little Miss Suffrage" t-shirt for your favorite budding feminist.
"Soul(s) of Harlem: Four Women" by KEEBS at Red Rooster Harlem
Stop by Red Rooster Harlem for brunch or a drink at the bar and make sure to check out artist Keebs' new installation. Her striking portraits of four Harlem women (including her mom and her great-aunt) include quotes about their connection to the neighborhood. Best of all, you can order Keebs' colorful cards, prints and limited edition artwork on Etsy.
