• Finally! The statue of Dr. James Marion Sims, the physician who performed experiments on enslaved back women, was removed from its East Harlem perch on Tuesday. The city will move the controversial monument to the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, where Sims is buried. [CNN]
