Season 2 of "The Tick," the Amazon series based on the 1980s comic book character, has been shooting all over New York City this spring and summer, including Bayside, Queens, and Harlem.
Last Thursday the production resurfaced in Upper Manhattan, using a perennially favorite film location–under the 12th Avenue Viaduct in Harlem, which most famously appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man"–to shoot a scene with a character that was half man, half lobster.
Using the viaduct's dramatic steel arches as a backdrop, the lobsterman clambered up an old station wagon and waved his claws over and over again. There was no sign of the blue superhero.
Season 2 of "The Tick" will premiere sometime in 2019.
