Citi Bike is getting ready to expand to 155th Street. Here's your chance to propose locations.

Citi Bike is getting ready to expand to 155th Street. Here's your chance to suggest locations for future bike stations.

Earlier this year Citi Bike announced plans to double its service area, including all of Upper Manhattan.

As part of the expansion, the bike share program is now turning to the section of Harlem between 130th and 155th Streets.

To help with bike station locations, Citi Bike and the New York City Department of Transportation are inviting the community to have its say.

Community outreach workshops will be held the next two Mondays, starting with Manhattan Community Board 9 on October 21, followed by Manhattan Community Board 10 on October 28.

There will be two sessions per evening, each featuring a short presentation and discussion, followed by comments regarding locations.

Neighborhoods in this area include Central Harlem, Manhattanville, Hamilton Heights, and Sugar Hill, so if you're a resident and would like to see a Citi Bike station near you (or the exact opposite), now is your chance to speak up.

Meeting details are as follows:

Monday, October 21; sessions start at 6pm and 7pm

The City College of New York, North Academic Center-Faculty Dining Room

160 Convent Ave, 3rd floor

Monday, October 28; sessions start at 6pm and 7pm

Hansborough Recreation Center

35 W 134th St (enter on Lenox Terrace Pl)
