Uptown bagel lovers, rejoice.
Bo's Bagels—the six-year-old Harlem spot known for its fresh, hand-made bagels in flavors ranging from Everything to 3CBO (three cheeses)—is expanding to Washington Heights.
The new shop will be located at 3750 Broadway between W 155th and W 156th Streets, directly across the street from the Hispanic Society Museum & Library.
The opening is slated for this fall, with an exact date still to be determined, according to owners Andrew Martinez and Ashley Dikos.
The couple, who began the business as a local market stand only a few years before they debuted their first shop, say the second location will be similar to the original at 235 W 116th Street, but "with beer and wine offerings (think: mimosas, prosecco, single craft beers) at the brunch/lunch hours."
Expect the same wide range of cream cheese flavors (scallion, lox, tofu veggie, to name just a few), plus classic sandwich combinations including cream cheese and lox; bacon, egg and cheese; and the Bo's Chopped Cheese.
