The spectacular United Palace is celebrating its 95th anniversary with a one-of-a-kind Star Wars triple feature.
The all-day event, taking place on Saturday, February 22 (the theater's actual birthday), features screenings of Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi on the theater's 50-foot screen.
Entertainment interspersed throughout the day include Star Wars music performed on the theater's organ by Ian Fraser, a Yoda impression contest, and a costume parade across the stage.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased in advance on the United Palace website.
For those craving more, there's a 2025 Movies at the Palace membership ($95) that includes one free ticket to the Star Wars event, one free ticket to all upcoming standard $10 movie screenings (at least 6 this year), and two early-access tickets to all free Movies at the Palace with Lin-Manuel Miranda screenings (at least 3 this year).
The full season will be announced shortly.
Guests will also have the unique opportunity to see the landmark venue's ornately decorated interior up-close.
Built in 1930, United Palace was one of five Loew’s “Wonder Theatres" and has 3,000 seats.
