New Tapas Restaurant Oliva Opens Inside the Manhattanville Market in West Harlem

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

The final piece of the Manhattanville Market puzzle is in place.

Oliva, serving classic Spanish tapas, just opened in an elevated section of the new food court on Broadway and W 130th Street, inside the Jerome L. Greene Science Center at Columbia University.

The menu by chef Franklin Becker and chef de cuisine Chris Strelnick features both hot and cold small plates, including jamon iberico, Spanish cheeses, tortilla, and an array of seafood dishes like soccarat (seafood rice).

Unlike the rest of the market, Oliva is a full-service restaurant that opens at 5pm and offers wine and cocktails.

There's also live music, visiting chefs and more on the schedule. Stop by until Friday, October 1 for a complimentary glass of sangria or wine.
