Central Harlem is finally getting its first Target.
The popular retailer confirmed it will be opening a store at 121 W 125th Street (between Lenox and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd), a new 17-story building that will also be the headquarters for the Urban League.
At 44,000-square-feet, the Target on Harlem's main commercial strip will be slightly smaller than some of its other locations, according to a report in the New York Post.
Construction on the new building, which will also house a civil rights museum, affordable rental apartments and office space, will start this fall.
