"A Midsummer Night's Dream" from the Classical Theatre of Harlem Kicks Off This Weekend in Marcus Garvey Park


The Classical Theatre of Harlem's Free Outdoor Production of A Midsummer Night's Dream Is Here Through July

The Classical Theatre of Harlem returns this month to Marcus Garvey Park with a free outdoor production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

In this reimagined comedy set during the Harlem Renaissance, four young lovers and a group of amateur actors get caught up in a series of romantic mix-ups in a mystical forest.

The play opens on Saturday, July 6 and runs through Sunday, July 28 from Tuesday to Sunday at 8:30pm.


Come early on Thursdays (7pm), Fridays (6pm), Saturdays (7pm) and Sundays (7pm) for food vendors and creators brought to you by the Harlem Night Market.


Seating in the amphitheater is first come, first served, so be sure check the weather and make your plans.
