The Fox, a stylish new gastropub from the team behind Harlem's Lido and Bixi, is having its soft opening this week.
The restaurant has taken over the corner space at 2224 Frederick Douglass Boulevard and W 120th Street, which was most recently the craft beer destination Hop House.
A peek at the current version shows items including pigs in a blanket, open-faced grilled cheese sandwiches made with gruyere, and vegetarian chili with turmeric rice.
Inside the space, the pub's traditional-sounding name has been offset by modern touches like striped walls and white tulip chairs.
The Fox is just a few blocks north of its sister spots on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, a stretch known as Harlem's restaurant row.
Doors open at 4pm during the week and 9am on the weekends.
